Well, the men's 4/5 team did a great job of controlling much of the race this
weekend at the NAC3 crit. I lead one attack, and as soon as I was realed back
in, Rodney immediately attack, forcing the pack to respond once again. Once they
realed back in Rodney, I was able to attack again while the rest of the team
blocked on the front gaining me almost a 100 meter solo advantage (thanks for the
block guys), which lasted for about 3 miles before I was reeled back in. While
the action was exciting, once again it came down to the sprint finish, where
Rodney took 4th, and I took 5th. So much for solo break aways. ;)

On a similar note, the course was really great. While the turns consisted of
several 180 U's, you were able to take them at almost full speed if you picked
the line just right (and if you trusted your tires). The lack of hills made it
tough to break away, but the unbelievably smooth course made the ride fast and
fun, regardless of finish place.
