Because this is one of the first racing events of the year, make sure your license is up-to-date by either purchasing or renewing your annual membership online at USA Cycling today!
Registration opens at 9:00 AM and closes 15 minutes prior to the start of each race.
The course is located between the south end of the Dulles Airport and Route 50, all in Chantilly, VA. Once on Route 50, turn north onto Stonecroft Blvd for 1/8 of a mile and then turn right onto Avion Pky, also for 1/8 of a mile. Finally, turn right onto Virginia Mallory Dr and proceed to the marked parking area within the interior of the course.
The large, white, heated community tent will be easily visible from both the marked parking area and the start/finish line.
Our Intra-Club Time Trial Series begins this Sunday (1/26). The purpose for this series is for club riders to gauge their base fitness and monitor their training progress throughout the winter. If you are not prepared to do a maximal effort then you can ride at a sub-maximal intensity (LT-10) for each of the three time trials and effectively gauge whether your speed is increasing.
The course is 3 laps on a 3.33 mile loop in Reston. We will start from the Hunter Woods Shopping Center. The course is Colts Neck to South Lakes to Soapstone to Glade to Colts Neck.
First rider goes off at 1pm. Riders will be staggered by 1 minute.
The 2nd Time Trial will be held on 2/24.

.mov file of the Reston Town Center Grand Prix course. Don't be thrown off by the cars driving backwards. This was filmed by mounting a camera on a bike riding the opposite direction on the course. So, when played in reverse, it shows the exact course.
